As a horse owner and a businesswoman, Judi Garfi Partridge understands both the financial and emotional investment involved in horse ownership. Garfi Partridge founded Summit General Insurance in 2009, combining her decade of experience as a successful owner and breeder of 70 of her own thoroughbred racehorses as owner of Serenity Oak Farms in Murietta, California, and her more that 30 years as founder and CEO of Eastwood Insurance, one of the nation’s most successful non-standard automobile insurance brokerages. Garfi Partridge sold Eastwood in 2007 to Nationwide Insurance, the third-largest U.S. insurance company.
